Our Services
Telehealth Services
Mobile speech therapy or telehealth speech pathology services are available to patients if clinic sessions are not viable due to illness, distance or other reasons. Sessions are facilitated through Zoom. While our clients are predominantly based in the Eastern and South Eastern Suburbs, we offer Telehealth services across Melbourne.

School and Home Visits
School and home visits are available if clinic sessions are impractical or challenging for children with complex needs.
Examples of suburbs we travel to include (but are not limited to) the following areas: Scoresby, Heathmont, The Basin, Knoxfield, Bayswater, Boronia, Ringwood, Ringwood East, Wantirna, Wantirna South, Croydon, Croydon South, Vermont, Ferntree Gully, and Upper Ferntree Gully.

Speech Therapy
45 minute sessions are available to support children requiring therapy sessions. These can be fortnightly or weekly.

Assessments
An initial assessment will be conducted with your child. This consists of a case history and clinical observations. Subsequent assessments may be conducted to gain deeper understanding of the strengths and skills to inform speech therapy goals.
JL Speech Pathology also supports Autism diagnosis through a multidisciplinary process. We will complete a thorough case history with you, and undertake formal or informal assessments with your child. We will be in contact with the child's kinder/school, as well as any other relevant professionals to gain further information about your child. School visits may also be required to observe your child in a natural setting.
A comprehensive report will be provided to you and your paediatrician. We will discuss our findings with you and set up a therapy plan and goals with your valued inputs.
